Good morning and Happy Friday.
Summer is almost over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to contribute to add to your thinking today.
This week’s video is from the Harvard Business Review, featuring Dr. Edward Hallowell (author of the book “Shine”). In the video, he shares that working harder is not always the best solution. Rather he mentions the 5 stages in the cycle of excellence:
- Selection – are in the right position?
- Connecting in a positive atmosphere
- Grapple (Work Hard)
Interesting thoughts for all of us, whether individual contributors or leaders. How do you see this working in your role or team or environment? What would you add or change?
Any thoughts on how to bring more “PLAY” into your role?
Have a great weekend.
All the best,
