The longer I lead teams, the more important being a storyteller becomes. As Kevin Spacey talks about in this brief video, the power of story has brought people together and started entire movements.
Telling stories, especially of personal experience, can be powerful in inspiring and teaching your team. It also requires a certain amount of vulnerability to put your stories, especially failures, out in front of people you lead.
